Digital Product Passport: your generic-DPP AAS submodel
The ESPR is the framework that brings the Digital Product Passport to one product category at a time, each through its own delegated act, starting with the Commission's first wave. AAS Studio's generic DPP template gives you a head-start: drop a PDF, get an AAS file aligned to the current draft delegated act for your category.
The pain today
- Each delegated act adds new submodel fields. Keeping templates current is full-time work.
- You may need a DPP across hundreds or thousands of SKUs, and manual entry doesn't scale.
- The DPP needs to interoperate with Battery Passport AAS files, with potential for overlap and conflict.
What AAS Studio delivers
- Generic-DPP template covering shared ESPR fields, with category-specific overlays as delegated acts publish.
- Multi-source extraction lets you bulk-process a SKU catalog with consistent quality.
- Audit-trail stamped onto every file so a market-surveillance authority can verify provenance.
